Review from TheTincanbug Ease of Use: 9 out of 10 Quality: 9 out of 10 Value: 10 out of 10 Comments: I needed a good soundcard to record my multitrack projects. I went with this one. The 2496's strength is phenomonal value - it's been absolutely problem-free, with an excellent sound quality. I needed on good, clean input into my soundcard, without added noise or reduction in quality, and the 2496 delivered. Anyone who's looking for a soundcard to record one stereo track, or possibly two mono tracks at once should consider this popular, highly rated choise.

Review from Geoff Ease of Use: 10 out of 10 Quality: 10 out of 10 Value: 10 out of 10 Comments: for the value and the quality , i'd almost think i'd have to do something illegal to get that . Very easy to use , it cost me under 200$ US , and it took me 5 min to get set up . I have not had a problem with it yet and i've bought other products from M audio because of this.

Review from Cleamon Jones Ease of Use: 8 out of 10 Quality: 9 out of 10 Value: 9 out of 10 Comments: Paid $250 Canadian, which is like $500 US. Much better than the stock pc card. Very easy to install and configure. Like the previous reviewer stated there are tonnes of routing options. Great sound sound and lots of power.
Review from dB Masters Ease of Use: 8 out of 10 Quality: 10 out of 10 Value: 10 out of 10 Comments: Absolutely superb. The drivers take a little getting used to with all the routing options and such, but the sound is great, the drivers are stable and compatible with everything and they suppoer ASIO, WMD and any other darn drvier type you can think of.
