The Model 101 mic pre-amp boasts a sleek and sexy look on the outside and immaculate design and features on the inside. Sporting one channel of balanced, transformerless mic pre-amplification with an optimized instrument input, 48V phantom power, and a 75Hz 12dB/octave high-pass filter, you know you can record with confidence. Rugged and roadworthy. Rackmountable in 1/2 space (horizontal).

Comments: Ok, this mic pre is not cheap (in the $600 range). But if you want a super clean, solid state sound, that is what you get with this model. XLR or balanced TRS in jacks and a one touch high pass filter make this preamp very versatile. The signal indicator changes color when you are close to clipping and changes again when you have clipped. They say you get what you pay for, and what you get with the Grace 101 is a clean, sweet sound. I love this thing.
