The Weekend of Code

From dB Masters on Apr 16, 2007

I am all bug-eyed after spending many, many hours digging in to HRC code this weekend. Going through some of the oldest parts of the site...the forum, profiles, stuff like that. I am amazed at how much my coding style (and quality) has changed in over 5 years. Some of that was fugly stuff.

I spent probably 10 hours this weekend re-writing a lot of it, tightening up security, and just generally cleaning house...deleting pages that are not in use any more and other such orphan type files. Kinda like a spring cleaning of the site.

Now I wake up this morning to go to work...oh, what do I do at work...well, I write code...

::sigh:: no rest for the wicked I guess...

On the up side it appears the redneck neighbor has completely pissed off another family in the neighborhood...by hassling THEIR child too...it won't be long before we light the torches and run them out of town.
