Behringer UCA 200 USB Interface

I have purchased a Behringer Xenyx 1204FX mixer. It has a USB interface for my computer. This mixer has zero documentation and I have not been able to find anything on their website to help. I cannot figure out how to make this thing work. Yes, I am new to all this, but familiar with computers. I have it connected with all the necessary cables, but when I try to record through my software, nothing is detected. I know this has got to be simple, but I am just missing something.
