My local rock station is doing an A to Z thing over the next three weeks or so...ya hear a lot of deep tracks during it.
I am, right now, listening to Cheech and Chong's Earache My Eye. :-D
Oooo, just ended, now Easy Livin! One of the greatest tunes ever!

Dec 13, 2007 02:19 pm I can't believe that Gary Thain did those high harmonies and played that amazing bass line.
The organ on that on is just plain EVIL...

Dec 13, 2007 02:35 pm Uriah Heep rocks! Seems like somewhat of an underated band to me. I really liked a lot of their stuff when I was growing up (still do actually)
Dec 13, 2007 02:36 pm I agree completely.

There was some crazy funny stuff back then. I was a little young, (you would be too, dB) but my older brother was sure into them.
I love the album, that had the car door, and on the inside, or back, it showed the inside of the door, with all the pot in it. Crazy.

Dec 15, 2007 12:58 am Yep, late getting here but one of the guys I work with and also went to the same school, although he was about my wifes age, a good deal younger. He cranked it up when earache my ey came on and let it rip right through Heep. I was rather pleased and just rocked out for awhile. Several from the front office came out to listen as well. Although it was loud enough they really didn't need to.
