Basically the new thing is, you put your music on one of the many sites that lets people buy your music for whatever price you set and you make some money and the website makes a little money... and you can post this little "mini store/player" thing anywhere and sell your tunes...
What I want to do is just let people download my music for free... Aside from creating my own website, where can I host 1 or more albums and just allow them to be freely downloaded...

Jul 24, 2007 05:05 pm Of course you can host a few at HRC and buy more space to host more.

Jul 26, 2007 08:50 pm Holy ****! I checked out there site. Is it really that cheap? Cool. I need to find a host for our band website.
Do they support Flash, Frontpage and all that kind of stuff? Basically I guess is, do they allow scripts?... Perl??
Jul 26, 2007 09:29 pm They allow most anything, I wouldn't bet on FrontPage though...they run Linux servers and have FP extentions up to like 2000 or so.
Great service, man, HostPC rocks. Allow any php and perl scripting, as well as ruby on rails and python.
Best host I have ever worked with.
