Not sure if there's a new member thread or what, but I just wanted to say hi. I'll probably be posting quite a bit, I've been recording for a while but recently got into recording on pc and a couple days ago started messing around with loops....

Feb 23, 2007 10:59 pm Manimal, this is the place to be for anyone wanting good advice from experienced people. And I might add, with one third less ego than the regular forum.
Except for dB, of course. Bahahahaha
Feb 24, 2007 06:38 am no need to get nasty just cuz I am better than you.
Feb 24, 2007 07:07 am aww sweet words from herb.
he's right though. i've been here for years, and as far as i can tell, i'm paying the yearly membership just to talk to these cool peeps about non music things. these db;s and noize;s and and...

i think the last song i recorded was about a year ago. that's how cool this place is.
Feb 24, 2007 10:17 am There's love and humility in my heart of course. And to prove it, check the latest addition to my music uploads.
Feb 24, 2007 02:09 pm Wow, this is one of the most welcoming forums I've joined. I've already learned quite a few things since I signed up. Thanks everybody 8)

Feb 27, 2007 09:20 pm Yep, there is loads of stuff to read just in the help and article's section that will help loads. But indeed the community is all about being there when needed.
OH my Herb, I never thought I see the day that there was s touch of Dixieland in that song. I want that one on my player for the car!!!! I have friends that'll never believe a bone in that tune as well.

Feb 28, 2007 11:12 am Welcome manimal. You'll love it here.
You'll see that there are a ton of "PRO" members here, and it's completely optional. We join because of the contributions of advice we get. You'll find HRC better than a stack of books and magazines. Everyone has something helpful to add, and there's usually someone who's been through whichever problem you may be facing.
Herb:
"One third less ego"?
Do you have the statistics? I thought it was more like 3/8.
